  It is always an honour to speak on behalf of a family at the funeral of a loved one. I thank all those that are moved by the level of service I provide. Their kind comments and kindly received words are shown below. To the families I have spoken for, please consider me your family celebrant for any future requirements. I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of Jayson and us all to thank you for the beautiful funeral ceremony that you delivered for the farewell of our beloved Julie. As one of the guest said after, "I never met Julie, but the picture that was painted so beautiful, by words, put a clear image of her into my mind"

I think that sums it up Sue! You are more than a wordsmith you are an artist and we were very fortunate to have had you perform the service and will indeed consider you our family celebrant for any future requirements.

Hi Sue,
Thank you so much for the service on Monday for Tracey Mitchell.  I am Tracey's sister-in-law, Robyn Springett.I'm sorry, I wanted to thank you in person after the service, but I was consumed by the amount of family and friends that attended.
I really want to thank you for standing by me while I did my reading for Tracey.I never thought I would have the strength to get past the first words, and I nearly didn't, but having your arm around me and your words of support helped me through. It was as though Tracey was standing there too. I didn't think any one could understand my words through my tears, but I had so many people tell me my reading was a reflection of their thoughts. The service for Tracey was beautiful, I'm sure it all went to her plans - even the weather was perfect.

Everyone commented on what a beautiful service and a large part of this was due to the way you managed to convey the sentiment so well in the readings. Tracey was a very special person to many (as I think you saw on the day) and you really did her memory justice

Dear Sue, I have been remiss in not contacting you to say how happy we were with the way you conducted the service and the help you were to us in putting  together what we wanted.
We had many many compliments, and I found that very comforting.
I am pleased we invited people up to speak, because Mrs Brown my mothers neighbour added a facet to the service I had wanted to include but was at a loss to know how.

Mum and I wish to thank you sincerely for your heartfelt and respectful handling of Matthew's ceremony.  Many people commented on how appropriate the ceremony was for Matthew. We both absolutely believe that Matthew would have been very pleased with the manner in which he was farewelled. This process is such a difficult one and we were faced with many decisions to make, including which celebrant to use. You were referred by Kerry at Prosser Scott and we know that we made the right choice. We particularly appreciate the way in which you personalised the ceremony in the way we wanted. Friends commented that, if there is such a thing, it was a beautiful service.

Just a short note to say
Thank you for all you did for us on Friday for Dad's funeral. We have had a number of comments on how smoothly it went and how nice it was. A number also commented on how lovely the service was with a touch of humour and the mixture of sadness. Thank you for helping us to achieve the right measure required to honour Dad's memory with the dignity and care it required. I was so happy to see you in the red outfit. It fitted in so well with the rest of all our "colours".
Wasn't it lovely to see everyone had respected Mum's wishes and dressed as she requested. We did certainly celebrate his life..... Mum is very grateful for the care and attention

A Funeral service was conducted on the 27/4/10 for our daughter Miss Kellie Bridger, by Leanne O’Dea at Fremantle Cemetery.

From Kellie’s family we would like to thank all concerned for making a very difficult day for us, as smooth as possible.  The entire program from pick up at home to being dropped off was extremely well done, very professional, dignified and compassionate.  Many people commented to us about how beautiful the actual service was, and this was due to the celebrant, Sue Henthorn and her delivery of the words chosen.  We thought she did a brilliant job, and would be pleased if you would pass this onto her.  I would not hesitate to nominate her for a future service, or use her again at another close relative’s funeral service.  The day is difficult for all concerned and it is absolutely imperative that the organisation and service goes off without a hitch, and we are so pleased that this happened to us on an important day.

It was a very difficult time and you made it so comfortable.

On behalf of the rest of the family we would like to say thank you for presiding over our mother's funeral service.It flowed beautifully and you spoke so well. We wanted to catch up with you at the end but got swept up with the people who attended. There were a lot more people in attendance than we anticipated.Peter's Dad said it was a beautiful tribute to a wonderful lady. He seemed to take it all in, which was good.Our daughter Nicole, in the UK, was able to see the whole service via Skype. There were no technical hitches.

 I wish to thank you so much for the lovely service you provided with professionalism and dignity for my beautiful Mother in law Jonnie, on 26th  May 2010.I found you to be very approachable, understanding and compassionate. All of Mum's Family and friends told me it was the nicest service they had been to in a long while. Both my husband and his brother were touched by the ceremony which was very comforting to me .I wished to speak with you before you left, to let you know in person but with the many people I hadn't seen for such a long time you were gone before I knew it. The booklets were also much appreciated for the service and the two copies you put together as a keepsake for our family of the entire ceremony are great.
